Created with heart by an educator, Wordwood Tales were designed to help children get lost in enchanting stories that will encourage them, make them feel capable, and excite them to learn. Our motto: Glow as You Grow, encourages students to take their time as they discover sounds, words, and become readers.

Meet Voyelle the Vowel Fairy
When wispy lights warn of trouble in Wordwood Forest, Voyelle follows them to help. Here she discovers her true purpose.
Her journey is filled with wonder, heart, and learning as she helps children explore sounds, develop patience, and discover the magic of finding their own way.
French for “vowel”, Voyelle was born to shine in Wordwood. Like many of us, she doesn’t figure out her own true purpose until she’s put to the test. Voyelle’s “purpose” was always a part of her; she just needed room and time to grow. Just like our children.
Meet VoyelleA Softer Way to Learn
In Wordwood, learning is not about pressure or perfection. It is about listening closely, trying again, growing slowly, and trusting that EVERY CHILD’S light arrives in its own time. Young readers are in the process of becoming, just like Voyelle. Change takes time, growth takes patience. We are here to help you and your little learners grow, and we hope that the joy it brings gives you the ultimate glow as you grow.
Growth comes when we step out of our comfort zone. Learning to read with the help of Wordwood Tales will make reading feel more natural. Enchanting characters wrapped in clever storytelling help skills stick with you and your child.
